Near the turn of the 20th century, we believe George Nixon Black Jr. and his family enjoyed playing croquet on the southern lawn at Woodlawn. Over 100 years later, Woodlawn's nationally-sanctioned croquet court regularly hosts NCSA tournaments with players from around the country. Community members are welcome to join the croquet program and play from May to October. There are a variety of styles of play and levels of experience. Lessons and sessions are open to all who want to learn. Below is the regular schedule of play for members.
